Lesco recently announced on 12 – september 2025 that new CEO is Engineer Muhammad Ramzan Butt He has been acting as CEO since April 2025 but formally announced on 12th of September by Boards of Directors.
Recently in a Podcast of “Radio Pakistan News” CEO of LESCO Engineer Muhammad Ramzan Butt said that Lesco is continuing its indiscriminate campaign against electricity theft. He also thanks the Court of Law for not giving bail to thieves until they pay their half bill. He also confirms that even the Supreme Court of Pakistan is rejecting bail for electricity theft.
Lesco peak & off-peak hours
Lesco and other Electric Supply Companies charge high rates during peak hours and normal charges apply in off-peak hours. In the evening time voltage goes unstable, on this time Lesco charges a high rate and 4 hours of evening are known as Peak-hours, remaining 20 hours are off-peak hours.
